Writing born from survival against the odds
Meet The Author
Eadi Q. Blagit began writing after surviving one of the darkest chapters of his life. Choosing to turn that experience into something meaningful, he pursued his dream of storytelling as a way to confront the hopelessness around him and inspire others to find their hope. Ultimately, he is using his voice to leave the world a little better than he found it.
The Origin Story
As a neurodivergent person, Eadi discovered early on that words could be wielded like a sword—cutting through confusion, challenging harmful thoughts, and giving voice to what he found difficult to express aloud. So, he took to the page, where imagination became both refuge and rebellion.
The Writer’s Journey
Like many writers, Eadi struggled with imposter syndrome before fully committing to write the stories he knew he needed to tell. In 2021, he began writing Echoes of the Unknown, an epic work he considers his magnum opus. When the manuscript did not find a home through the query trenches, he set it aside and turned his attention to Primal Desire. This work was published by Howling Wolf Press in 2025. But Echoes was still on his mind. That same year, he redrafted it and hopes to get it traditionally published by a big 5 publisher.
More From the author
In addition to writing gripping fiction, Eadi is passionate about helping new writers hone their craft. Through his YouTube channel, Your Writing Partner, he offers developmental and line-edit feedback, practical writing insights, and encouragement for new writers working to bring their stories to life.
In his own words: The author unfiltered
What should readers know about the person behind the stories?
My hobbies include working out and video games. The cat posing with me is named Garfield. My sisters found him behind a garbage can and I took him in. So far, two of his pictures have gone viral lol!
What are fun facts about you that readers would enjoy knowing?
When I was 10, I read about Christopher Paolini, the author of Eragon. They hyped him up as the youngest author at 14. Out of spite, I decided to write my own book, Myth. I wrote it only for my friend to read it and tell me it was just like Narnia.
Myth was about a boy going into his closet to find a magical world full of talking animals fighting a war against an evil sorcerer. My book was better: it had a Loch Ness Monster named Nelson and a bigfoot named Biggie Smalls.
What are you working on now?
I am currently writing another book. My Heart Won’t Beat on its Own. It’s centered around a disease that makes your involuntary bodily functions voluntary. You now have to think to breathe, blink, and pump your heart. Additionally, I am building an editing YouTube channel to help brand new writers.
what do you want to be known for as an author?
I hope to have inspired real change for the better through my worlds. I’d hope future leaders refer to my books as inspiration.
Favorite authors and what has influenced you?
The late great Kenaro Miura of the Berserk series. The art and themes of going one’s own path inspired me to write. I can even point out the exact panel and page that made me inspired to write my own book.
what book changed your life?
Berserk Volumes 6-7
why should someone read your work first?
The raw emotion that serves as inspiration for my works. I like to think I write out of a genuine need to communicate. I literally don't want any money out of this author venture, just for people to hear me.
what’s your writing routine like?
I try to write 1-2k words a day while acting as a writing partner for my writing group and other newer writers.
what’s next in your universe/series?
I hope to turn Echoes of the Unknown into a four book series. The second will have large focus on Hawaiian mythology.
